FINALLY I'm back....and i have new challenges to share

Its been a while, i am so sorry i have been MIA.....
SOMETIMES LIFE GETS IN THE WAY OF THE GOOD STUFF.

Welcome back for another fortnight challenge with Smudgy Antics!
The theme for this challenge is
BURNT OFFERINGS.
You may interpret the challenge theme anyway you choose.  For those attempting to use actual flame of some sort please use common sense and have a basin of water nearby as well a fire-extinguisher.  We don't want any injuries or burnt down homes in the making of your burnt offering projects.

Examples of Burnt Offerings include, but are not limited to, the following:
Burn the edging of your cardstock or a portion of your project.
Use a soot stamping technique.
Use a wood burning tool in some fashion on your project.
Use your heat gun to scorch areas of your project.

Also acceptable, especially for the accident prone folks, are the following:
Use a faux Burnt technique.
Add faux flames to your project.

I went with real flames and have the blister and burnt thumb nail to prove it!
I had no idea that a burning nail smelt so bad...or maybe it was the pva/paint/sand/utte mix.... which ever it was it was terrible!
I made a clay ATC. Stamped using real rubber from SMEARED INK... baked until a little burnt.... just like my normal cooking :D
I added my glue/paint etc mix around the edges..... heated it with my heat gun... you get great texture.
I then painted the whole thing a grey/brown, then dry brushed a dirty cream colour over the top.... then the real fun began...... i rotated the edges over a flame.... thats were the blister came from.... ouch.
I had great fun making this piece.... i really do hope you'll join us this fortnight.

Welcome to the 2nd week of theMacabre Monday challenge,
Astrological Atrocities
You are to create a dark, Gothic, or Hallowe'en
based art piece that is somehow directly and obviously inspired by
the signs of the Zodiac or  Astrology.
And if you're thinking that "Astrology just isn't your thing",
check out what our awesome sponsor and fellow, gifted Minion, Teri
has to offer in her Delicious Doodles digi shop.

I used LEO as its fitting for August. I kept it really simple as Teri's superb image needed nothing!
I do hope you'll join in....
Thanks for visiting....I'ts good to be back creating again.
